On 6th March, 2016 Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses the valedictory session of National Conference of Women Legislators.

The conference which was hosted by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra mahajan, is attended by former President Pratibha Patil, Gujarat CM Anandiben Patel, Union ministers Sushma Swaraj, Najma Heptullah and Maneka Gandhi, former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit and Congress president Sonia Gandhi were among the much known faces.

Key points of his speech included:

1# Shifting focus from “Women Development” to “Women Led Development” in India

2# The Prime Minister also said multi-tasking, which becomes very important element of modern-day life, comes naturally to women.

3# Narendra Modi ji also encourage the women legislators to be more tech savvy and engage with their constituents using technology. He shared his own experiences regarding this.

4# He also congratulated the Speaker, Smt. Sumitra Mahajan, for her leadership and vision in the organization of this Conference.
