The temperature of the region encompassed by the Zanskar River dips down to -30 degrees resulting in the stream getting frozen. Chadar Trek (Frozen River Trek) usually covers the route from Chilling to scenic Zanskar Valley. This trek has a maximum elevation of 11,123 ft. above the sea and thus gives you that thrill. The best time to engage in a trekking experience on Chadar Trek is from January to February when the temperature drops to about -30 and -40 degrees. Chadar Trek is well connected to the Zanskar village of Ladakh.

2. Pangarchulla trek

This 15,069 ft high trek is known for its summit climb Pangarchulla and is known to be one of the most exciting treks in the Himalayas. As this is a difficult trek, you must do a 14,000+ feet trek before registering for the Pangarchulla trek. While the summit climb in itself leaves you with a strong adrenaline rush, the scenic beauty here is worth appreciating. All along the trek, you will be accompanied by views of the Himalayan Range. 3. Goecha La Trek

Goecha La is another challenging yet exciting Himalayan trek, famous for its spectacular views of mountain peaks, especially the southwest side of Mount Kanchenjunga, the third-highest peak standing in the whole world, which could be seen from the top of Goecha La.

Apart from this, you can enjoy a beguiling view of 14 other mountain peaks from Goecha La Trek.

With a maximum elevation of 16200 ft. above sea level, it remains a top destination for an avid trekker. The best time will be the winter months of October and November and is located in the Sikkim region, this high-mounted pass serves the great Himalayan range. 

4. Everest Base Camp Trek

Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal serves you with aesthetic views of nature. This is the highest mountain trek in the world that leads you to the same path where the great Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay walked. This is fondly known for its view of Mount Everest that is the tallest mountain peak in the world, with an altitude of 8,848 m. The best time to encounter this beauty is from March to May and from September to December. This South Base Camp of Nepal can be reached from Lukla Airport or Kathmandu Airport. 

5. Kalindi Khal Trek

This trek is also known as the Big Daddy of treks in Garhwal Himalaya. Kalindi Khal Trek incorporates an uneven route that involves traversing over glaciers and snowfields. Trekking on this strenuous trail commences from Gangotri and terminates at Badrinath. You can indulge yourself in many activities like camping, trekking, and photography on this trail. This elevated trek provides a perfect destination for pilgrims and trekkers. The Kalindikhal Pass is at an elevation of 6,102 meters. Trekkers love to trek here usually in mid of July to August or early September. This is located in the Garhwal Himalayan region of Uttarakhand. 

6. Pin Parvati Pass Trek

The Pin Parvati Pass is one of the most challenging Himalayas treks in Himachal Pradesh. This trail provides a route from Kullu valley to Spiti Valley and this makes it even more popular among visitors. It is an approximate 110 km distance up the hill.  The tour begins crossing through the beautiful Parvati Valley The whole experience of rich flora and fauna, together with diversified forests with snowed alpines will catch you off-guard. The Pin Parvati pass trek is at an altitude of 5319 meters. The best time is from July to September.
