Television sport Anchor Mayanti Langer Binny on Thursday sought to put an end to incessant trolls directed at her cricketer husband Stuart Binny, who yielded 32 runs in a single over against the West Indies in the first of two Twenty20 International matches in Florida, the first ever T20 tournament held in United States.
“Taunting me with suicide is shameful. Think of the families that suffer because of this tragedy and you have reduced their plight to a joke,” she answered to trollers on Twitter.
“I hope bullying us made you feel better about yourselves, cause otherwise was it really worth it.”
Binny was mocked on social media after the only over he bowled, turned out to be expensive as West Indian opener Evin Lewis smacked him for 32 runs, including five sixes on August 27.
