Dry toilets are beneficial for users because there are some reasons such as it gives opportunity of conserving water for any reason, whether be it for environment reasons or environmental issues.  Moreover it is even good for saving earth from surface pollution, it do not mix excreta with water and ground remains pollution free. If offers more flexibility in the process of dry toilets as both dry toilets and excreta manages without sewers. It is more useful than flush toilet and sewer-based systems. According to data of Ladakh Ecological Development Group, consumer consumes approximately 75 litres per day if it will be compared with locals they only consume 21 litres.

Differences are, both toilets keep the people and society hygienist. Dry toilet is a toilet without flush system. User squat pan over which the user squats in the case of squat toilet. How does dry toilet works, is a big question. Dry toilet has natural process of decomposition for recycling of human waste. There are so much benefits of having this process followed.  It will be more fertile and beneficial for farmers as well as people, this kind of production are fast, healthy.

Both the toilets are hygienic but this one consumes lot of water which is just a waste ,in the 21 st century when water is highly in demand we can not think about wasting it even a single drop. As global warming is giving reason to glaciers for depletion. Bio-toilets promotes flush system which is not much beneficial from the agriculture point of view. The decomposition takes place through mechanized system which decomposes Human waste in the digester tank using specific graded bacteria which later gets converted into Methane and Water. It(bio-toilets) is mostly found in cities, every trains. Also farmers could not take benefit from bio-toilets.

As Ladakh has shown a very good path of improvement by promoting Dry-toilets, there is a very illustrious  poster regarding this topic which Ladakh has launched for Dry-toilets which says..

“Traditional Ladakhi toilets do not waste or pollute water like water toilets, and they also produce useful manure for fields and tress”.

Ladakhi even says along with locals they want their every guests learn to use dry toilets, observe the benefits which they will also take in future through agriculture.  As when tourists visit they prefer flush toilets but Ladakh has decided it will not play with lives of people just for  few people’s convenience. Because people lose two profits at one time of not having both water, good and healthy agriculture, if soil will not be fertile and productive, it will never provide good stuff. But this old tradition allows both health and future water conservation otherwise our next generation will be in scarcity of water and humanity both, good health will be far from their reach. Ladakh has just introduced old technique in new form with many profits.

Both are good but Ladakh has talked about more beneficial technique which is long lasting . On the other hand it is profitable from every aspect. Morover Ladakh has solved very crucial issue of sanitary which is still not in conversations of people. “Think hygienic , live hygienic”!
