Another Golden Moment for Indian Sport!! World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) recently honoured late Indian legendary wrestler Dara Singh who made India proud in the international wrestling arena. Known as Rustam-e-Hind, the legendary Indian was inducted into the 2018 Hall of Fame. The WWE Hall of Fame (WWEHOF) awards ceremony took place just two days before the Wrestlemania 34 event.

Headlined by WCW legend Goldberg, WWE’s Hall of Fame induction class of 2018 was yet another moment where the wrestling superstars from yesteryears took their rightful spots in WWE’s hallowed hall. This grand ceremony had a legendary alumnus like Jeff Jarrett, Bill Goldberg, The Dudley Boyz, Ivory, Hillbilly Jim, Mark Henry and Kid Rock on the celebrity list.

Dara Singh was awarded with the ‘Legacy Wing’ award in the Hall of Fame category. This category is for the legends of WWE who fought in an early 20th century from across the world.

Meet the WWE Hall of Fame 2018 Legacy inductees

Apart from Dara Singh, the other legendary wrestlers whose name have been included in the Hall of Fame’s Legacy Wing list are WWWF Champion Stan Stasiak, Cora Combs, El Santo, Jim Londos, Lord Alfred Hayes, Rufus J. Jones, Sputnik Monroe and Boris Malenko.
